I went from a Green Kelp zone into a Mushroom forest biome and BOOM!! fully repaired Seamoth explodes inside cyclops at 103 depth. My Second Seamoth just exploded inside the Cyclops literally seconds after I fully repaired it.Īll I did after the repair was move the cyclops straight forward no more than a couple of seconds. On multiple instances I have checked and the Moth has taken anywhere from 30% to 70% damage from just cruising about in the Cyclops. I've been taking short breaks to check on the Moth while driving around in the cyclops. I don't know for sure but it's definitely not pressure damage.Ĭyclops has been no more than 90m since I docked this Seamoth yet it's still taken damage.Īlright, can now confirm it's either absolutely random or has something to do with crossing biomes. perhaps Spade Fish are glitching through the hull and hitting it while it's docked or something. Working theory atm is that all the little bumps and bangs the Cyclops is taking no damage from are impacting the Seamoth somehow.
So I built another Seamoth, popped it inside the Cyclops.Īt no time did I take the Cyclops below 200m but when I took my Seamoth out to scout it had taken 40% damage just sitting inside the Cyclops.
